Rancho Bernardo, CA Continuing Care Community

The Lifestyle You Want for Today, The Security You Want for Tomorrow

Casa de las Campanas is the only not-for-profit Type A Life Plan Community in San Diego County. Why does that matter?

It matters if you want an exceptional and active lifestyle along with a solid plan to control the cost of possible long-term care.

It matters if you want control of where you’ll receive health services, and if you want to be in a familiar setting, surrounded by those who care about you.

It matters if you want to give yourself and your family peace of mind about your future.

This kind of continuing care plan is a tremendous long-term value and a smart way to age in place.

  • It’s all-encompassing. Your one-time entrance fee and monthly service fee cover virtually all your needs, including a wide range of amenities and services, maintenance-free living, freedom from property taxes or homeowner’s insurance, and unlimited access to health services.
  • It offers predictable costs. If your health needs change, you’ll receive the care you need at little or no extra cost, right here at Casa. That includes in-home care, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Rehabilitation, or Skilled Nursing. (Cost of living adjustments and ancillary items, such as prescriptions or personal medical supplies, aren’t included.)
  • It may reduce your tax bill. A portion of your entrance fee and monthly service fee may qualify as a prepaid medical expense tax deduction. (Talk with a financial advisor for details.)

70% of people age 65+ will use some type of long-term care services. Doesn’t it make sense to be prepared?

Also known as continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), Life Plan Communities are senior living communities that provide multiple lifestyle options and choices, generally including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Communities often charge a one-time entrance fee. It’s an upfront sum to help cover community operating expenses and prepay some of the fees that come with offering access to continuing care for life. It also ensures priority access to all levels of health care, in case you ever need such care. At Casa, your entrance fee is based on the size of residence you choose and the number of occupants (either you, or you and one additional occupant).

Monthly fees for residents include use of all community amenities as well as personal services such as meals, flat linen service, housekeeping, and all utilities.
